The Fund has the status of a “Participation Fund”, with its entire portfolio consisting of lease certificates, participation accounts, partnership shares, gold and other precious metals and other non-interest-bearing money and capital market instruments deemed appropriate by the Board, in accordance with Article 6 of the Communiqué, in terms of portfolio limitations.
In accordance with the fund’s investment strategy; the fund portfolio is managed by taking into account macroeconomic data, statistical analyses, market conditions and risk-return expectations. A multi-asset management model is adopted within the framework of the transaction types in the “Asset and Transaction Type Table” below. Portfolio diversity is achieved by actively managing strategic and tactical asset allocation. Within the scope of the fund strategy, it is aimed to obtain returns in Turkish Lira in the medium-long term by investing in money and capital market instruments in accordance with the participation principles.
Portfolio diversity is essential in managing the fund portfolio and the aim is to achieve long-term return targets through a two-stage “asset allocation”. The first stage, Strategic Asset Allocation, is the stage where the portfolio allocation that best reflects the fund manager’s long-term expectations regarding asset classes is created, taking into account the fund’s long-term return targets and investor risk profile. The Tactical Asset Allocation stage is the stage where short-term opportunities in the markets are evaluated and additional contributions are aimed to be made to the fund.
